Homelessness constitutes a growing challenge to cities throughout the United States.  Every day, thousands of people in Metro Nashville Davidson County go without basic necessities of life, such as housing and food, which are often taken for granted.  Physical and mental disabilities, a lack of affordable housing and support systems, limited occupational skills, and drug and alcohol addiction all contribute to homelessness.

    Homelessness is not just a government problem, but a community problem that affects every single person, agency, and business.  By working together, we can provide solutions for our homeless neighbors and make our community a better place for all of our citizens.
